"Yep" the doctor told a worried and pacing boy, Jordan, "Your suspicions were right, she has Hypothermia"
"How do I cure it?" Asked Jordan with a worried expression on his face
In the downstairs room you could hear the beating of a hammer, and every few minutes an electric screwdriver. "Poe" Jordan called hoping she heard him over all the noise, "could you quiet down a bit. The doctors here to tell me about Vahl's condition" The noise immediately stopped and a few seconds later Poe came bursting in Jordan's room where the doctor was examining Vahl.
Poe bombarded the doctor with questions mostly relating to "Will she be okay" the doctor just nodded to answer these questions. "Whats wrong with her?" Poe asked looking at Vahl with caring eyes.
"She has Hypothermia" the doctor said, sighing "its related to the cold, and its where the body gets so cold the body can't keep up and warm itself faster than the cold is making the person cold."
Jordan interrupted their conversation "So how DO I cure her"
The doctor turned to Jordan and said, "Keep her in multiple layers of blankets, give her a hot shower, anything that gets a person warm will help."
Jordan's eyes lit up "Thats not so hard!" he said, joyfully
The doctor left after that. And 2 hours later Vahl woke up. Little did she know she would be taking a shower, much less what a shower even was. Jordan had set out a towel for her outside of the shower, he asked his sisters for some clothes to borrow for Vahl and Poe considering they had no clothes that were as they said "up to date" his sisters said they'd be happy to help and to give them a minute to sort the things they would keep and which things they would give to the two guests (practically day-to-day family now). Jordan explained to Vahl what a shower was and what to do in the shower even though they were only trying to get her warm. Vahl got into the shower, but Jordan didn't know this he brought in a folded pair of girl's clothes, saw Vahl's naked body, dropped the clothes closed his eyes and ran out of the bathroom. Vahl only giggled she didn't know it was weird to see other people naked, and was still adapting to Jordan's lifestyle. But this wasn't easy for her she knew nothing about the place she was in and what people did in it. To most every word Jordan said that was not familiar she said "what does that mean" or "what is that" but there was one phrase in particular she was stressed about. Will you go out with me? She had meant to ask Jordan but never got around to it. She remembered that memory every day, the 2 kissing, him asking her the phrase she didn't understand, a crying girl, then black. "Today" she said audibly by accident "today is the day I'm asking him" she said. And with that she got out of the shower, dried off, and got dressed in the borrowed clothes. The clothes felt weird to her, the clothes would also need adjusting just like the lifestyle. She went to Jordan's room, and saw Jordan typing away on his laptop. Without looking up he said "Yes, Vahl" "I need to know what another phrase means Jordan. " she said. "Which one" Jordan asked. "Will you go out with me" replied Vahl "you asked me that after we kissed." "It...uh...it, uh" stuttered Jordan "It means...like you and Farkaas, well almost, you and him were married, going out is more just having fun with the one you love. Thats called a date"
Vahl registered these meanings in her mind, but blushed when she finally realized what it meant, "So what you're saying is you love me and you want to spend time with me?" Vahl questioned. "Essentially" Jordan replied, this made Vahl blush even harder. "Well in that case" Vahl started "I accept your request." A second after she had said this Jordan kissed her, "Awesome" he said after kissing Vahl. "Friday afternoon, 12:00 at the mall, don't be late" Jordan said walking out of the room. He didn't notice Poe hiding behind the door, she had heard everything that had happened, and this got her extremely discouraged. Until the day before the date when Jordan finally found her hiding in the basement, "Hey Poe I've got something to ask you" Jordan said sitting next to her. "Go away" Poe said. "I just wanted to ask you to come with me to the mall on Friday at 12:00 noon." "Don't you have plans with Vahl" Poe asked."Look" Jordan said "I have feelings for both you and Vahl, this date is to determine which one of you I like better, cause' right now I just can't say." This took Poe out of her discouraged mood, "Then I accept" Poe said and Jordan did the same thing he did to Vahl, he kissed her. This was a surprise for Poe because Jordan was doing this of his own free will. "Didn't expect that" Poe said, "I'm unpredictable" said Jordan and he left the basement.
